Minnesota

After 9 1/2 years I finally got to go to Minnesota to see my best friends life. It was wonderful, Leanna is the best I look up to her and her mothering skills so much. She just has this natural relaxed ability to run her home. Her husband Rob is a farmer, it is the most simple blessed way of life. She lives on their farm with no homes around. Her children go to a private school 20 min away. We had the best time just hanging out visiting and watching movies. I also got to meet Creed for the first time, he has a smile that lights up a room, he truly is a precious baby. I loved spending time with her kids, we played tag in her front yard until I pulled my groin and my age showed through. I got to meet some of her friends and family, I loved seeing her life. I am so blessed to have such a close friend/sister, its amazing how through the years the miles between us are so much more distant than when we were 13 and I lived in perry and she was in Brigham and we saw each other daily. Now its a phone call every month and a yearly visit and we know each other more than before and we keep getting closer. She is my rock and I am blessed to know her!

Spring/Summer catch up

Life has been busy its been a month since my last blog, forgive me! We have been having a lot of fun so far, Both kids are playing ball. Macie is hilarious she runs after her own ball after she hits it and tries to get herself out. The coach just laughs at her he says she could be her own team. Broxton on the other hand is soo shy. It has been great to see his shell start to crack as he gets more comfortable with the game. He does have such a natural ability to play. The kids games are in Clear field so my mom absolutely loves seeing us 4 days a week. And her cute face is at every game supporting the kids! Scotts family also came out to Utah to see the state. They thought it was so beautiful. We took them up to Uncle Curt and Aunt Karens ranch, Scotts dad who doesnt say much couldn't stop talking about how welcome he felt with our family, I was so proud! Scotts oldest sister Susan is special needs. She touched my heart so much she loved playing with Macie and helping me with dinner, she got on a 4 wheeler for the first and last time in her life I told her that I wasnt going to print up her boarding pass because I wanted her to live with me, that freaked her out a little she wouldnt leave my side until she saw her name on a boarding pass. It was pretty funny I dont think I would be that bad to live with!! LOL
