Thanksgiving

No pictures to post this time, I can not find my camera.. sorry. Needless to say we had a great thanksgiving. I cooked an entire homemade meal on wednesday, well I started cooking on Tuesday so that I could get it all done. I had my dad, Kyle and his family and Scott and the kids for an early thanksgiving feast. Let me just say, I love my 2 ovens! I brined my Turkey this year and I will every year to come. It made it so juicy and flavorful! My Dad played wii for the first time with Brox, which was a riot. We then went up to Park City to spend the rest of the time with my mom and some friends. Scott had to work so we missed having him there the whole time. But it was fun to be with the cousins and close friends, and believe it or not their were no family fights this year, at least none that I was aware of.. Brian my step dad even introduced me to his friends as his oldest daughter.. as i fought back the tears and nudged someone every time he said it, it became a running joke.. how is he going to introduce me this time.. 4 times later it was still as his oldest daughter. It has only taken 17 years for him to get over his hump, but he has.. well at least for this year..lol ill still have faith that we will continue to build a good relationship. Anyway I am done at least I think with all of my Christmas shopping and I even made and handed out my neighbor gifts last night. So this Month will truly be just enjoying the holiday season.. I will leave now with the posting of what I am most thankful for.. in no particular order,

  1. My mom, she is an amazing person who has such a caring heart and is such a giving person.
  2. My kids who made me complete
  3. My Scott who loves me more than i thought anyone could or would.
  4. My Family extended and adopted you accept and love me for who I am and what I am not.
  5. My Leanna who without her love and support and stability I could not be half the person I am today
  6. My Alice may we grow old together loving each other like our mothers do.
  7. My Career it has allowed me to take care of others and make a good living doing it.
  8. My God who believes in me loves me and forgives me.

I know there are others but I dont want to make this post too long.. love to you all!

Halloween 2008

The kids were so excited for Halloween this year. Mostly because I promised them we would go back to Bear River for the trunk or treat. Brox loved seeing his BFF Braden. Those two are so funny. All they do is walk around watching their feet and talking.

This was always a tradition with Gram. Every year I would take her with me wherever I would go with the kids.. Although I miss that, I think that she would be so pleased that now gramp enjoys the traditions. So here he is, enjoying seeing all the kids.

Macie the Cat.. yes I made the costume for her and her beloved roo roo. And Brox who for the last 5 years has been some character from Star Wars!

Not sure who she looks like, but can I say... I think she is soo beautiful.
